Company Policy
Because We Care
Here at Guided European Mountain Tours, we want to give you the most enjoyable touring experience, one that will keep you coming back to tour with us time and time again. That’s why we believe that our company policies should be fair, clear and transparent. Below you’ll find a list of all our policies. If you can’t find the information you’re looking for - please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Firstly, most important -

on booking, we will ask our clients to confirm that they hold the necessary driving licence and have sufficient insurance cover for both themselves and their vehicle. We recommend a fully comprehensive vehicle insurance policy with 'green card' enabled - and either combined or separate breakdown cover to cover all possibilities should the worst happen (repatriation of vehicle removes a lot of stress and worry)

Legislation -

we ask clients to refer to RAC/AA websites for up to date information regarding legal requirements for driving/riding in foreign countries

Holiday insurance -

Personal holiday insurance to cover yourself for any loss or injury whilst on tour - be very careful when buying holiday insurance, many companies only cover for riding bikes of up to 125cc !!

Pricing -

Our tours are all priced on the basis of 'one person, one vehicle, one room"

- if you are a rider and pillion or driver and passenger, (or for that matter 2 friends willing to share a twin room) you need to inform us and the price for a twin or double room is calculated as 1.5 x the cost of a single room.

Disclaimer -

Guide European Mountain Tours cannot be held responsible for anything that happens whilst on tour (accidents, incidents, speeding fines etc) - in signing up for one of our tours you are accepting full responsibility for the manner of your riding and the condition of your equipment.
- we at Guide European Mountain Tours are simply here to assist in any way we can and to provide routes and hotels, if the client wishes to take an alternative route to the one suggested this is his/her prerogative.
