Motorcycle Tour - Austria. 15th - 23rd June 2024

9 day tour based in Austria, dipping into Italy and Slovenia
 
Day 1 - meet up at 6am, on the Eurotunnel 07.20 crossing, 
long 400 mile day to Strasbourg using motorways in order to get there in good time

Day 2 - 325 miles to Salzburg – using fastest roads available, tomorrow we  will start to see the sights and tour properly
 
Day 3 - 120 miles – 2hrs 30mins – if all goes to plan, visit the Eagles Nest and ride over GrossGlockner (Austrias highest accessible mountain road) - eneding at our base for the next 4 nights, The Iselbergshof Biker B&B
 
Day 4 - 200 miles - our personal favourite as we drive 3 or 4 amazing passes, action cameras at the ready, the scenery is stunning and the roads are interesting to say the least !!
 
Day 5 - 171 miles - another exceiting day, driving the big name Swiss passes - and one of them is cobbled !!
 
Day 6 - another day out of the driving seat, we will wake up just down the road from the stunning Tissot Grindelwald Cliff Walk.... so if you have a head for heights, this is it !!  - those not wishing to partake we will have a route for satnavs so you can go and have a final fling around the big 3 passes - Grimsel, Furka and Susten....
 
Day 7 - home time, a big days driving (550 miles) to get back to Calais and the Eurotunnel - it's been a blast.
