Grand Alps & Napoleon. 10th - 18th August 2024

Day 1 – 405 miles - Toll roads through France to Lons-le-Saunier 
– long day, just to get there....
 
day 2 - 171 miles – here we go, Route de Grand Alps, lets get this show on the road, not many miles todat but the roads are narrow and twisting from now on..... 
 
day 3 – 155 miles, did someone say scenic twisties.....
 
day 4 - 130 miles – ending up just outside Monaco (can't afford to stay in there !!) - last day of the Grand Alps, more stunning scenery and fun roads, we stay in a self catered appartments for the night 
 
Day 5 – 100 miles – a bimble around the local twisties ending up at hotel in Nice (can add about an hour on if you want to ride around Monaco GP circuit
 
Day 6 – another 130 miles to Sisteron along the Route Napoleon
 
day 7 – 180 miles, more Route Napoleon to Grenoble – and then Col due Rousett, Coombe Laval and Gorge du Nan on the way to Grenoble....
 
Day 8 – 290 miles, heading home, toll roads back on the menu im afraid...
 
day 9 – 245 miles with Tolls (3.5 hours) or 270 miles without tolls (5.5 hours) - we're going home, individual choice as to use of toll roads and departure time from hotel, as I know some like to leave really early and get home mid morning......
